Oxegen and V Sell Out!

MTV's OXEGEN fest sold out in just 1 hour and ten minutes this morning (March 2) - and V fest has followed suit.

Of OXEGEN, the MD of Ticketmaster said, (It's an) unbelievable reaction. OXEGEN is up there with the likes of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals. It was a lottery for tickets, we could have sold three times the number such was the demand."

MTV.co.uk also gave revellers a chance to buy their tickets in advance yesterdday.

Of the V Fest, directors Bob Angus and Simon Moran said, We are absolutely overwhelmed that we have sold over 150,000 tickets this quickly!"

Honestly, one sniff of Spring..!

Headling OXEGEN are Muse and My Chemical Romance while Foo Fighters, Kasabian and Snow Patrol will rock V.
