Paramore – From Tennessee To Parahoy And Beyond!

With new music on the way we take a glance at Paramore from year's past...

With the second Parahoy cruise looming on the horizon, and Hayley Williams teasing us with whispers of new songs in the works, 2016 looks set to be a good one for Paramore fans. Since the release of their self-titled album in 2013, Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor have been enjoying global domination of the rock scene; but let’s remember, it wasn’t always this way…

One of the bands who blew up during the MySpace era, Paramore were originally a five piece, formed when Hayley was still at school (their debut album came out when she was just 15!).

Founding members Josh and Zac Farro left the band, in a less-than-amicable way, back in 2010, something that inspired a lot of the lyrics on both Self-Titled and the previous record, 'Brand New Eyes'. Cue major awkwardness and some very detailed online rants from both sides! However, Josh has just released a new solo single and discussed what it was like to leave Paramore.

“We didn’t end on the best terms, but everything is cool now…It just takes some time to heal from a breakup like that,” he recently told 'Billboard'.

The current Paramore line-up of Williams, York and Davis are getting ready to set sail on next March’s Parahoy cruise, accompanied by CHVRCHES, Lights, X Ambassadors, mewithoutYou, Vacationer, and New Found Glory, whose guitarist Chad Gilbert will marry Hayley at some point in the near future. It’s been a decade of greatness, so let’s unlock the vaults and take a look back on the road Paramore have been on from then to now!
