Bling Ring Copycats Target Paris Hilton?

Paris Hiltonhas reportedly been targeted by thieves copying the plot of [uuid=bc26d334-64b8-4548-b286-bbc1d6592c2a]The Bling Ring.

The socialite saw life imitating art (imitating life) when a group of girls gatecrashed a party at her home in Malibu, Los Angeles, last weekend.

TMZ reports that the 32-year-old was throwing herself a going away party before jetting off to Ibiza for a residency at nightclub Amnesia.

The intruders are claimed to have grabbed bikinis, Paris Hilton-branded handbags and framed pictures - but were disturbed by a guest and dropped all the items as they made a quick getaway.

A valet is reported to have found the items in the street and they were collected by one of Hilton's drivers.

The incident was apparently not reported to police.
