Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton had her jail sentence cut in half, all thanks to what the judge called Good behaviour.

26 year old Paris was arrested after violating her probation on a drink driving conviction and was sent down earlier this month.

The sometime actress and singer, but full time party girl, will now serve 23 days in a California prison instead of 45.

Paris has recently made an effort to portray herself as a positive role model, despite previous sex tapes and drug allegations.

During her sentence she will be sharing a cell with one other person and will be allowed only one hour a day to shower, watch TV or to use the phone. She begins her jail time on June 5.

Seems the heiress will be living the simple life indeed!
