Now we love a good prank as much as the next guy or girl, but an Egyptian TV personality went waaaay too far with a recent stunt involving Paris Hilton.

The US socialite was invited to take an aerial tour of Dubai in a small private jet with actor Ramez Galal, but once up in the air it becomes obvious that there is a problem with the plane.

Poor Hilton begins screaming and crying as the hoax is dragged out for another five minutes - with passengers even jumping out of the aircraft wearing parachutes.

And when told that it was all a prank, Hilton is so shocked that it seems obvious she was not in on the gag.

"I almost thought I was going to die," she says, weeping.

"That's been my biggest fear my whole life, dying in a plane."

Galal has used the same prank on different victims for the last four years - but Hilton's footage has not been aired on TV and it is unclear whether it will be or not.
