Paris To Play Mother Teresa?

Paris Hilton has been asked to play Mother Teresa in a biopic of the humanitarian's life.

The heiress " better known for her partying than her charity work " has been contacted by Indian director T Rajeevnath. He wants her to take on the lead role his latest film, which will chronicle the life of the nun who spent her life working with Calcutta's poor.

"My agents in California have contacted Paris Hilton," said Rajeevnath, adding that her recent decision to turn down a big-money Playboy photoshoot had impressed him. "Although there are several actresses willing to play the role of Mother Teresa, the most widely respected and loved person, the history of the actress who is finally chosen for the role would have to be analysed thoroughly before she is chosen."

The English-language film will be shot largely on location in Bengal.
