Macca's Mucked Up
Beatles man is to miss the charts because he's selling it through a coffee chain...
Beatles legend Paul McCartney faces a battle in the charts this weekend.
A technicality means that many sales of his 21st solo album, Memory Almost Full will not be eligible for the UK charts.
Corporate caffeine pushers Starbucks released the album on their new label Hear Music selling it in all of their UK stores.
Unfortunately for Macca none of the outlets provide sales data to the Official Charts Company which compiles the chart rundown. Oops.
As if things couldnt get worse the poor old rocker has further competition from one of the most famous albums of all time!
The Beatles' Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is currently enjoying a resurgence in sales after celebrating its 40th Anniversary.
Ah well, think of the royalties eh Macca!
