Macca's Star-Studded Video Gets Star-Studded Premiere
Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp star, as celebs turn out for private bash...
When you're as famous as Paul McCartney, getting your A-list mates to appear in your latest music video is clearly no problem.
The black and white video sees both Portman and Depp performing sign language to the lyrics. Not only is it directed by Sir Paul himself, but the footage was also shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister, whose previous credits include The Dark Knight and Inception.
With a line-up like that, it's little surprise that the premiere of Macca's latest offering was itself a fairly star-studded event.
Held at his daughter Stella's West Hollywood boutique, McCartney's celeb-packed bash included the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Jane Fonda, Twilight actress Kristen Stewart, Gwen Stefani, Miranda Kerr and legendary music producer Quincy Jones.
Asked why he picked Portman and Depp to star in the video, Sir Paul said: "Well, they're just nice people, some friends from way back and they were just very kind to do it. I was very pleased to work with them."
We're sure the feeling was mutual.
