Remaining Beatles To Open London Olympics?

Paul McCartney admits a reunion with Ringo Starr is on the cards…

The remaining members ofThe Beatlesmay reunite to perform at the London Olympics.

Paul McCartneyand Ringo Starrare tipped to headline the 2012 Olympic Gamesopening ceremony, which will be watched by up to two billion people worldwide.

Sir Paul confirmed the talks in a new interview on American television, but said nothing was set in stone yet. "I met the guy who knows the guy who's going to ask somebody about it soon,” he revealed. “I hear there's a rumour that I might be involved. I hear they're planning this [The Beatles] sort of music.”

According to reports, deceased Beatles John Lennonand George Harrisoncould be represented on stage by their children.

Other acts Spice Girls. Despite next year being the 10th anniversary of Girls Aloud, Slumdog Millionairedirector Danny Boyle is helming the ceremony which takes place on 27 July, 2012.
