Paul Walker’s Father To Sue Porsche Over The ‘Wrongful Death’ Of His Son
This follows Meadow Walker's lawsuit from September.
It’s been almost two years since Paul Walker was involved in a deadly car crash with his friend, Roger Rodas.
But now, Paul’s father has decided to sue car-makers Porsche over the horrible accident, claiming both wrongful death and negligence.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Paul William Walker III has filed the lawsuit due his belief that the car he was in ‘lacked safety features which could have saved his life’.
He also claims ‘Porsche knew the model had a history of instability and control issues', and is now seeking unspecified damages.
Paul’s father’s lawsuit comes after Meadow Walker, Paul’s daughter, also attempted to sue Porsche back in September.
The company then came back to the public suit, stating: “[Paul] knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger in respect to the use of the subject 2005 Carrera GT…
“He chose to conduct himself in a manner as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle.”
