By now you've probably seen the fairly shocking video of things kicking off between Louis Tomlinson, ex-but-now-maybe-girlfriend-again Eleanor Calder and two One Direction 'fans' (we use that term loosely bearing in mind they weren't exactly acting in support of Tommo)at LAX last week.

But while Louis was arrested and bailed over the incident, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards is reminding people what a good guy he is andspeaking out in support of him.

In the vid, Louis appears to become involved in a scuffle after two girls corner Eleanor. While he has not spoken out about the event, allegedly because it could harm his legal standing, several friends havespoken out to say his actions were to protect Eleanor.

One person who seems to agree with this is Perrie, who's also spoken out to say she thinks the whole scenario was pretty unfair.

"It's a hard situation because you don't know how you would act unless you're in that situation, but Louis is such a nice guy," she tells the MailOnline.

"When you watch the video, all he's doing is protecting his girlfriend like any normal guy would, but because he's in what was one of the biggest bands in the world people are just going to be constantly on him, which I think is unfair for him and Eleanor."

And bandmate Jesy points out just how hard it can be in scary situations like this, adding:"I just think that sometimes people can forget that you're a human being. Like, they get so caught up in the fact that they see you on TV and it's not real life to them."
