Perrie Edwards Shares Some Excellent Break Up Tips (They Involve Snack Food)
Well, she's definitely not wrong.
While 99% of people on the planet have had to go through the slightly horrifying event of a break up, Perrie Edwards has had the misfortune of having hers plastered on the front of a million magazines.
But even though her split from Zayn Malik was a rocky one (it’s alleged that he ended their engagement over the phone), she’s come through the other side a lot stronger – and has even given her tips for others to survive one.
Yep, the Little Mix star was being her usual babe’in self as she spoke to Cosmo US, and instead of spewing some standard celeb rubbish about clean eating and hitting the gym extra hard, Pez kept it real.
"Have that little moment when you're in your room and you cry", she told the mag.
"Eat some crappy food: chocolate and ice cream and popcorn. And you feel like sh*t, [but] then once you pass that stage, surround yourself with positive people.
“You get your girlfriends, you go out, party, you enjoy life."
Can we get an ‘amen’?

Of course, Perrie’s ‘positive people’ include her incredible bandmates, and she also opened up about close they really are.
She added: “[We're] past the point of being friends, we literally love each other so much…
“We're together 24/7, we live in each others' pockets every single frickin' day, but we still go back to out hotel rooms and immediately ask each other, 'Oh, what are you doing tonight? Do you want to come to my room?'
“We love being together. It's weird, I don't even know why. But it just works - we believe in sisterhood and just being strong women.
“We've really become stronger as a unit and realise that when four girls like us come together, it's a force to be reckoned with."
Anyone else feel like blasting ‘Salute’ on repeat after this?
