In what was crowned the most random story of the day yesterday, it would seem there might be something to all these Joey Essex and Perrie Edwards rumours after all.

Following Perrie's rep claiming that they are 'not dating', Joey's spokesperson has come out and said that they did infact swap numbers. Awkward!

"I can confirm that Joey exchanged numbers with Perrie Edwards and The Pride of Britain Awards," he told The Mirror.

He added that they "met up a couple of times" since meeting, but also added that "Joey is single".
