Pete Davidson Gets Dragged For His Ariana Grande Jokes On Saturday Night Live

When will it end?

After making a very heartfelt confession on Saturday Night Live last weekend, it seemed as though Pete Davidson had grown past cracking jokes about his ex-fiancé, Ariana Grande.

It turns out that he’s not, as the comedian took to SNL again to make another joke about the ‘God Is A Woman’ vocalist during his apology to US veteran and congressman-elect Dan Crenshaw.

Cracking another joke about his living arrangements, which FYI he’s been doing ever since he moved out of Ari’s New York City apartment, Pete said: “Can you imagine being Pete Davidson’s mom? It can’t be easy when everyone’s mad at your son and roommate.”

It got a lot more direct when Dan arrived on the Weekend Update segment of SNL though, as the veteran’s phone beganto ‘ring’ andAri’s song ‘breathin’ wasplayed through speakers as the pretend ringtone. Real subtle.

Pete then went on to ask Dan whether or not he was going to pick up his phone, with Dan saying: "No, it's cool. Ariana Grade's cool, man. Oh, do you know her?"

Fans are not happy that Ari’s name keeps getting dragged into SNL skits though, with one calling it “tacky.”

Another was quick to point out that whether or not Ari's aware that SNL are using her tracks.

Even if Pete is struggling to stop constantly mentioning Ariana’s name in his comedy, at least the queen has come out of the other end.

Ari tweeted that she’s moved on and embracing life, writing: “i’m excited for whatever else the universe has in store for me. she’s growing n she’s grateful [sic].”

For the millionth time since the song dropped – thank u, next.
