Carl And Pete Talk Reunion
The Libertines getting back together looks more likely after this weeks NME Awards...
Carl Barat and Pete Doherty have moved closer to reforming The Libertines after talking about the idea at the NME Awards.
Pete told reporters at the indie ceremony: "Ive written and recorded a solo record. Theres probably another on the way.
There's an amazing Babyshambles record coming too and The Libertines is going to happen."
The Libertines second album came out in 2004 and the band split up soon after. There have been many rumours of a reunion since then.
Barat's band Dirty Pretty Things split up late last year and he is apparently finding his solo record hard to finish.
Carl has told Doherty that he wont reform the band until the wayward rocker has sorted out his drug problems.
In September the duo performed together at a gig in Camden- filmed by MTV of course.
