Doherty: The New Face of Marmite
Forget the arrests, the music deals and wedding plans, this is far more exciting...
Let's face it, you either love him or hate him so it's fitting that Pete Doherty has become immortalised for the first time in Marmite.
Artist Dermot Flynn has created a minature portrait of the Babyshambles singer on a piece of toast using the sticky brown paste, and is now putting it up for auction to the highest bidder.
And it doesn't end there: 'Beautiful' singer James Blunt, style icon Victoria Beckham and chav queen of hearts Charlotte Church have also had the wheat germ treatment
They sit alongside Simon Cowell, David Cameron, Gordon Ramsay, Jude Law, Margaret Thatcher and Big Brother's Nikki Grahame in the ten-piece series.
Obviously this now sparks the question: how much is a celeb on toast, worth? Er, well about 1.50 at the time of writing this...
Boost it up a bit and the money will go to cool children's art charity Room 13.
