EXCLUSIVE: Doherty's First Modelling Shoot
The singer takes a leaf out of girlfriend Kate's book and strikes a sultry pose...
MTV has bagged exclusive footage from Pete Doherty's first modelling shoot for hip Manchester fashion label Gio-Goi.
We recently reported that Pete had been snapped up by the brand to front and design a range of clothes for their rock 'n' roll Spring/Summer 07 collection - and as you can see from our Overdrive report the results are pretty hot.
Giving Mossy a run for her money, Pete pouts and looks moody in his range of cool kegs and t-shirts - in one sequence, the singer who's overcoming heroin and crack cocaine addiction, even sports a tee emblazoned with the words, 'Drug Free'.
Pete will showcase the clothes for the first time in a top-secret Babyshambles gig in London on December 7 which fans can attend by entering a special comp (details below).
Meanwhile, Gio-Goi co-founder Anthony Donnelly said he is well chuffed to be working with the reforming rocker.
"Peter looks fantastic as a model," he commented. "We are very excited and look forward to having his influence as a rock icon in the design process."
The label has a long history of dressing rock royalty and hit the big time in the '90s when it togged up the likes of The Rolling Stones, Happy Mondays, Oasis, New Order, and Primal Scream.
