Exclusive - Peter Andre: "I Was A Mess"

The singer, famous for the nineties hit single Mysterious Girl told us: “The day we split until 5weeks after…I couldn’t even talk, I was like a zombie.”

 

Andre, who at the time of his publicised split from the glamour girl was being filmed for his new reality TV show also said: “Apparently the first day (of filming), I was like the living dead …I was a mess”

 

He added: “I mean it’s been like 3 months of hell but, I’ve come up out of it well.”

 

Jordan also seems to have put her marriage with Pete behind her after being pictured ‘romping’ with new lover Alex Reid in front on Andre’s four-year-old son, Junior.

 

A spokeswoman for Pete has stated: “She is appalling everyone on his side of the family.”

 

Andre, who is bound to be upset by the images also told us at MTV News that songs on new album Revelation are even more significant after the break down of his 5 year relationship with Price.

 

He said: “These songs are actually even more relevant now. If things had carried on going well on a personal side, I would have said this was just a stage in our relationship that was pretty bad, but you know we are over it now and it’s all great but obviously that didn’t happen”

 

Pete added: “Now they are even more relevant, which makes it not easier to sing but it actually makes it more meaningful to sing now.”

 

The singer, who released new single Behind Closed Doors this week, also told us a little bit about the song itself.

 

He stated: “It is quite a general title, even though it might mean a little more in my situation but basically it’s just saying that there are always different things that happen behind closed doors…everyone lives behind a façade.”
