Pharrell Williams Talks Michael Brown's 'Bully-ish' Behaviour Before Fatal Shooting

The Happy singer has caused a stir with his comments regarding the Ferguson crisis...

Pharrell Williams is the latest celebrity to comment on the death of unarmed 18-year old Michael Brown in wake of the Ferguson crisis in America.

Brown was shot dead by Officer Darren Wilson in August this year, with the incident causing outrage in the US after it was decided this week that Wilson would not be charged for his death - despite firing a total of twelve shots at the teen.

[related]During an interview with Ebony magazine, Pharrell was asked whether he'd seen CCTV footage allegedly showing Brown stealing from a convenience store minutes before his death in Ferguson, Missouri.

While he admits that Wilson should never had used lethal force on Michael, Williams did note:"It looked very bully-ish; that in itself I had a problem with. Not with the kid, but with whatever happened in his life for him to arrive at a place where that behaviour is OK. Why aren’t we talking about that?"

He later added: "The boy was walking in the middle of the street when the police supposedly told him to 'get the f*** on the sidewalk.'

“If you don’t listen to that, after just having pushed a storeowner, you’re asking for trouble.”
