Penelope Cruz ‘In Talks For Pirates 4’

Penelope Cruz is in talks to star opposite Johnny Depp in the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean, according to a report.

 

According to The Hollywood Reporter the gorgeous star is being lined up to play a mysterious new character who will battle Captain Jack on the high seas.

 

Neither Keira Knightley or Orlando Bloom will return for the next Pirates flick- which is called On Stranger Tides.

 

Rob Marshall is also replacing original director Gore Verbinski on the project.

 

Marshall directed Cruz in the recent musical Nine- for which she has an Oscar nomination.

 

Pirates 4 starts shooting this summer in Hawaii and is scheduled to be released in May 2011.
