Watch The First Trailer For Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

It stars Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem and very hot newcomer Brenton Thwaites.

Captain Jack Sparrow is back! Sort of. The first teaser for 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' (the fifth in the series) has set sail onto the world wide web, but Johnny Depp is a no-show for now. Check it out below.

Instead, this first look places Javier Bardem’s villain, Captain Salazar, centre stage. After murdering a shipload of British sailors, Salazar squares up to series newcomer Brenton Thwaites (who plays Will Turner’s son) to deliver a message to Sparrow: "Find Sparrow for me. And relay a message from Captain Salazar. Tell him: death will come straight for him,” he says. “Would you say that to him? Please?”

Bardem looks like he’s relishing this role – Salazar seems dark, menacing but as that final blast of manners hints, he might be quite funny, too.

If Brenton Thwaites is playing Will Turner’s son – does that mean that Orlando Bloom is returning to the series? Yes, it does!Bloom will be taking his first voyage in the series for the first time since 2007’s 'At World’s End.' Also returning will be the excellent Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa.

Also, some daring up-and-comer called Paul McCartney will be starring. (Yes. That’s actually happening.) It might seem like a strange casting decision, but McCartney won’t be the first legendary rockstar to star in a' Pirates' film, as The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards played Jack Sparrow’s dad in 'At World’s End.'

Side note: check out one of Salazar's followers below. This guy's only got half a head! How does he get'anything'done? I don't know much about leading a crew of villains in a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie, but seems like having a dude with a half a headwould be a liability. Just saying.

Hans Zimmer, responsible for all that excellent 'Pirates' music, will not be returning. Geoff Zanelli will take care of the soundtrack, while Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg have taken the helm of the 'Pirates' series as directors.
