2013 MTV Movie Awards host Rebel Wilson stars alongside Twilight's Anna Kendrick in this hilarious Glee meets Bridesmaids comedy.
Kendrick plays Beca, a no-nonsense aspiring DJ who joins an all-girl a cappella group ‘The Bellas’ at her college in order to prove to her father that she has put her all into her scholastic career, as only then will he let her drop-out and pursue her dream of becomming a record producer.
But as she gets to know the group of misfits, including Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) - who incidentally steals every scene that she’s in - Beca makes it her mission to mould the band’s fresh new style, and in her bid to beat their male counterparts and win the state competition, Beca develops firm friendships with the group.
With an overload of brilliant jokes, witty one-liners and a catchy soundtrack that will leave you tapping your feet for hours, Pitch Perfect strikes just the right note and is the ideal feel-good film.
Having earned a whopping $65M at the Box Office alone, it’s no surprise that Universal have just signed up for a sequel, and we can’t wait!
