The final trailer for the latest instalment in the Planet Of The Apes movie franchise has been released.

Clocking in at more than two-and-a-half minutes, the promo for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes gives a good idea of what to expect from the sequel - which again stars Andy Serkis as genetically engineered ape Cesar.

The trailer begins with the declaration that "apes do not want war" - accompanied by contrasting shots of the primates looking menacing and brandishing weapons.

A human voice is then heard explaining: "You know the scary thing about them? They don't need power, lights, heat, nothin'.

"That's their advantage, that's what makes them strong."

The movie sees Cesar tangling with Gary Oldman's angry human Dreyfus and his supporters - while also attempting to keep the apes in line.

It is set to hit cinemas on 17 July.
