How To Play The New PUBG Desert Map On Xbox
Here's when Xbox players can FINALLY play the new map in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
If you've spent any time with PlayerUnknown's Battleground (often known by its abbreviation, PUBG) on Xbox One, you'll know that while our PC pals have been getting to grips with a new map for some time now, we're still fighting across Erangel, the game's very first map set in Russia.
Well, there's good news for Xbox One players! Miramar, the second, desert-themed map that hit PC way back in December, is now coming to Xbox One.
Well… kind of. For now it'll only be available to those of us using the test servers, which means if you fancy battle royale-ing someplace new, you'll have to head on over to the Xbox Store and install "PUBG Test Server". The download is available right now, with the test going live tomorrow. The times the test is live aren't super kind to people in the UK - you're looking 1am-7am on April 25, 27 and 28 - but developer Bluehole says it may make things a bit kinder to us as the test gets underway.
The weekend isn't so bad, though; on Saturday and Sunday you'll get access from 7pm our time to 7am. Who needs sleep, eh?
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is out now on PC, and in Early Access on Xbox One.
Wondering what else is new? Here’s our picks of the best games of 2018.
