All PlayStation 4 Games Will Be Available To Download

Sony reveals big shift to digital distribution for new console...

All games on the PlayStation 4 will be available as downloads, Sony has revealed.
The electronics giant confirmed the move to The Guardian - on the same day that news emerged about it filing a new patent for a technique to block the use of pirated games.
Sony Worldwide studio boss Shuhei Yoshida said: "We're shifting our platform more and more to the digital side. PS4 will be similar to PS Vita in that every game will be available as a digital download, and some will also be available as a disc."
He also revealed that the company plans to introduce several tiers of subscription for users.
"As more and more services and contents become available digitally, we'll have more of an option to create attractive packages.
"So hypothetically we can look at different models - like a cable TV company.
"We could have gold, silver or platinum levels of membership... We can do subscription services when we have more content - especially now that we have the Gaikai technology available.
"With one subscription you have access to thousands of games - that's our dream."
Meanwhile, NeoGAF has reported on a patent filed by Sony - detailing a new way to identify and block console owners using pirated software.
The patent describes a means of verification which measures load times.
It is not known whether it will form part of the PS4 systems.
