More PlayStation 4 Details Revealed By Sony
Senior staffer reveals new console will come with 'very large' hard drive...
More details have emerged about Sony's keenly anticipated new games console, the PlayStation 4.
The electronics giant's senior staff engineer Chris Norton is claimed to have confirmed that every device will ship with a headset - and a "very large" hard drive.
IGN reports on a panel discussion called "Developing for the PS4" which took place at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
He also apparently let slip a number of other minor changes and factoids concerning the console.
The friend limit will be increased from 100 to an unspecified figure, the DualShock 4 controller will lose its analogue buttons - and the handsets will charge while the console is sleeping.
There will also reportedly be more integration with social networks such as Facebook - along with controls to prevent unwanted PS friends learning your real identity.
A recent comment from a senior industry figure suggested the new console could be on the market by October.
