New features, price and release date confirmed for the new PlayStation console!
A NEW PLAYSTATION CONSOLE has been revealed! The souped-up PlayStation 4 Pro is a high-end version of the PS4, with improved features and better graphics – so if you haven’t upgraded to a PS4 yet, now might be the right time to up your console game. Ooh, so shiny!
Unveiled alongside the PS4 Slim, the most exciting thing about the PS4 Pro is that it’ll make all your PS4 games look better. If you have a 4K TV, that means you’ll be able to play all your PS4 games now in tasty 4K quality. Yum.
That also means you can use your streaming services in 4k – so make way for VERY HIGHLY DEFINED 4k Youtubers and 4k Netflix and chill ;)
In other things really, really, ridiculously good-looking, the PS4 Pro will also support HDR imaging, which basically means if you have an HDR telly, it will support brighter, more realistic pictures with “visuals that are more realistic, strikingly vivid and truer to the way the human eye sees the real world,” says Sony.
Meanwhile, if you have a HDTV, you’ll also get enhanced gameplay with 1080p resolution on all your PS4 games.
Yes, Nathan Drake will look even better, if that’s even a thing.
It also comes with 3 USB ports, which will come in handy for connecting the upcoming PlayStation VR system (or just charging your phone, whatevs), and boasts a big 1TB hardrive, for downloading more games and storing your gameplay videos.
The PS4 Pro will come out on November 10th 2016, and will cost £349. BRB, writing to Santa.
