TWO New Modes Are Coming To 'Vampyr', To Make Life As A Vampire Suck Less
These updates are BLOODY awesome! Here's everything you need to know.
Bonus content is coming for blood-sucking RPG, Vampyr, soon.
The next update for the 18th century London-set action game will introduce two new modes, as well as numerous bug and optimisation tweaks designed to improve the game and add "further replayability".
"As well as bringing a host of optimization tweaks, the upcoming update will introduce a toned-down ‘Story’ mode that de-emphasizes combat and a cranked-up, more challenging Hard mode," says Dontnod. "The Story mode makes the game much easier compared to a standard playthrough, allowing players to go through the narrative without worrying about challenging combat."
But that's not all. For those wanting a tougher experience, the developer is beefing up hard mode, too.
"On the other end of the scale, the Hard mode make combat much more difficult. Players will receive less experience from killing enemies too, forcing them to rely even more on embracing citizens to grow in power."
As yet it's not confirmed exactly when the update will drop but, as always, we'll keep you posted!
Vampyr is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
