You might want to think twice before storming into the next Pokégym you come across, there’s apparently a legendary Pokémon captured in the world of Pokémon Go right now.

The legendary Pokémon known as Articuno has allegedly been seen and caught in Pokémon Go. This follows the news that fans have managed to dig into Pokémon Go files and find the Articuno Pokémon listed in there.

Now according to users on Reddit the Articuno Pokémon has been spotted atop gyms in Ohio. This is backed up both by screenshots and even a video, suggesting it’s real. But it’s apparently not been caught in the usual way.

Pokémon Go gamer, kaitcovey, posted on her Pokémon Go Facebook group that she was given legendary Articuno by Niantic, the game’s creators. She claims she had an issue and contacted the game creators who rectified it by gifting her the amazing Pokémon.

Of course this might not be true. Theories range from a hack to a glitch to an accidental release of the legendary Pokémon. Whatever the case it cements the existence of these Pokémon making the future of Pokémon Go even more exciting.
