Pokemon Go has gone down and nobody can deal
Pokemon Go has been hacked by a cyber collective called Poodle Corp and is offline
Pokemon Go has been hacked by a cyber collective calling themselves Poodle Corp.
The app has been offline since yesterday and people are seriously NOT HAPPY about it.
But while Poodle Corp have been bragging about the DDoS attack, app developers have said it's just down to too many people trying to download it.
A DDOS, or DistributedDenial of Service, is a way cyber groups crash servers by flooding them with so many requests every second that they cannot cope
Poodle Corp took to Twitter to tell everyone what they'd allegedly done.
They tweeted: "PokemonGo #Offline #PoodleCorp".
This was followed up by another tweet from the 'head' of Poodle Corp, promising that they'd be doing something on an even bigger scale soon.
Obviously Twitter has not taken the news of the hack well with many users raging about the hack.
One tweeter posted: "@PoodleCorp congratulations on irritating every #millenial ,time to be put down is it? At least call urself #TeamRocket #waste # falseflag"
Another called on Anonymous to take Poodle Corp down.
There are a LOT of angry, sweary people out there, Poodle Corp. HAPPY?
