If your life motto is GOTTA CATCH ‘EM ALL you'll be excited to hear that the next Pokémon Sun&Moon games have just had the three lead characters revealed.

These guys you *won't* need to catch as they're who'll you start out with. There's Rowlet, Litten and Popplio to pick from.

First up, Rowlet. This little one is based on an owl – and a smartly dressed one at that - who comes complete with a nifty leaf bowtie. He is a grass and flying type of Pokémon who should evolve into a more threatening beast as time goes by.

Next we have Litten which, as the name suggests, is kitten like - or a fire breathing cat, to be precise. Even the whiskers here are red flame shapes, expect burning brilliance from this one.

Finally there's Popplio who looks very much like a seal dressed as a circus clown with, you guessed it, water powers.

The trailer also shows off two more characters that appear to be the Sun & Moon legendaries, a giant white sun-like lion like creature and a flying blue bat-like moon beast.

The map in the trailer also reveals the island, complete with volcano plus plenty of green that should mean leveling up fire, water and grass Pokémon will be possible in plenty of locations.
