Pokémon Sun And Moon Unveils New Instagram-Style Minigame, New Pokémon And More
Check all of that out HERE...
Pokémon Sun and Moon may not be out just yet but details continue to be revealed. The latest trailer reveal suggests the game will feature a photo mode just like the favourite found in the N64 game Pokémon Snap.
While the game won’t be first person, most of the time it will occasionally offer a mode where you take a camera-person perspective to snap a Pokémon. This is then judged to rate you on the quality of the shot you manage to capture.
The best part? It looks like this will be social. Gamers should be able to upload their best photographic efforts to share. There looks to also be an option to comment on the shots using a selection of pre-written phrases. These posts can be upvoted allowing gamers to play a minigame that’s almost like a Pokémon Instagram... or at least, that’s what the trailer appears to show.
The trailer also shows off some new Pokémon info on those that should feature in the game with more details about them.
‘Type: Null’ is oddly named even for a Pokémon but it appears to be a normal type with armour and was allegedly synthetically created like Mewtwo. Jangmo-o is a dragon type, Alola Form is a form of Raticate, available in dark or normal. Lusamine is president of The Aether Foundation there to take on the bad team.
Other details suggest there are collectibles that form the legendary Pokémon Zygarde. The Sun and Moon games also appear to be set 12-hours apart with different events taking place in each based on the time of day.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is due out for Nintendo 3DS on 23 November.
