The very first look at gameplay in the upcoming Pokemon Sun & Moon games has just been revealed at E3!

Unveiling the gameplay in a Nintendo Treehouse reveal live from E3, we’ve also got a look at the new starter Pokemon we’ll be able to choose from this time: Rowelt, Litten, Popplio. Importantly, they said they’ve worked hard to keep their movements in the world and in battle super cute.

More details on the new legendary Pokemon have been revealed - they’re the adversaries of the sun and the moon, Nintendo revealed live at E3.

The new tropical Alola region, while not connected is teased to be teeming with life and that also means we’ll see lots of new Pokemon we’ve never seen before - including PikPik, a woodpecker-like Pokemon, and Yungoos - a small creature who's hungry all the time, and that makes him angry. HANGRY.

Plus, we got us first look at the brand new ‘Battle Royal’ mode - a multiplayer match for up to four players, where the winner is the last trainer with Pokemon left standing. It looks awesome.
