You Won't Believe How Easily Players Are Taking Down Pokémon Go’s Newest Legendary Pokemon
But it'll take more work to catch him.
Pokémon Go’s newest Legendary target has been beaten by just TWO players.
Moltres has only been available since last week in the UK, and despite Pokémon’s recommendation that you need around 20 people to beat and then catch him, we’ve already had reports of teams of just three players successfully taking him down.
Now obviously, how many you’ll need will vary from player to player, and of the three Legendaries we’ve seen so far, Moltres is not the strongest given that loads of people have recently stocked up on rock Pokémon.
“For duo, you will need ~11 Golems each (throw in an Omastar with Rock moves if you can),” said ADD_ikt on Reddit, in a useful breakdown of what each player’ll need given the size of the attack team.
Of course, this will only get Moltres down… there’s more work required to be able to catch him!

While we’re on the subject of Pokémon, it has also been confirmed that Pokémon Go’s Raid Battles are now ready for players level 25 and up.
Pokémon Go accounts that use third party trackers (and by that, we mean accounts that are already flagged as cheats) won’t be able to see rare Pokémon in scanned areas. But last week, Niantic got down to srs bsns and now all cheaters will get a mark of shame.
