As if anyone on Twitter hadn't already got the memo that J.K. Rowling is queen of the clapback then we're guessing they will after her latest stream of musings owning Trump supporters threatening to burn their copies of the Harry Potter books.

After tracking down and retweeting a postfrom US Vice President Mike Pence from 2015 where he said - and we quote - that:“Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional,” JK added a line to reflect the weekend's events, which saw new President Donald Trump announce an executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries from traveling into the country.

“’For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?' Matthew 16:26," she wrote, quoting the Bible and making a rather pointed eyebrow raise at Pence and Trump.

Several of her followers who are also Trump supporters unsurprisingly took exception to this and responded with threats saying they were going toburntheir copies of the HP books.

Needless to say, J.K. didn't seem too bothered and brought the sass in her responses to those defending Trump and his administration.

"Glad I caught this article on Yahoo. I will now burn your books and movies too," one follower said in response to the tweet. Not that J.K. seemed all that concerned and retweeting the response, she replied:“Well, the fumes from the DVDs might be toxic and I've still got your money, so by all means borrow my lighter.”

Ooh double burn.
