London's Tube Stations Share Messages Of Unity Following Westminster Terror Attack

"United we stand, divided we fall"

For Londonersand visitors alike, the Thought or Quote of The Dayboards that stand in many tube stations are synonymous of the spirit of thecity and what it stands for. Sometimes funny, sometimes sombre, they are always thought-provoking.

But their presence has never been more apt than it is this morning, when commuters and touristsmaking their journeys across London were met with messages of strength and unity in the wake of yesterday'sterror attack in Westminster that has left at least four dead and 20 injured.

Many stations have chosen to use their notice boards to actively send powerful messages to the people of London while othershave noticed hidden meaningsin signs already standing that seem particularly poignant today. Here's just a few that have made people stop and think:

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the attack in London yesterday - if you want to know more about what happened click here and if you're looking for a way to show support are are able to, you could think about donating to the London Air Ambulance, who were on the scene in Westminster yesterday and which is a service that doesn't receive public funding.

If you're in London, there will also be a candlelit vigil tonight (Thurs 23rd March) at 6pm in Trafalgar Square to pay tribute to those killed and injured in the attack. All are invited to attend. #WeStandTogether.
