First Power Rangers Movie Poster Is Revealed And It's All Types Of Mysterious
Oooooooh WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
As if we weren't excited enough for the Power Rangers film reboot, this first incredibly mystical teaser poster has just been revealed!
It features silhouettes of the teenage Rangers (although not in their morphin' gear!), with the phrase 'together we are more' hovering over a cluster of stars which make up the shape of the Power Rangers lightning logo.
It was also announced this week that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will be playing Zordon, the Rangers' recruiter and mentor.
The stars include Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Becky G. as the Yellow Ranger, RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger, and Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger. The Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks will also appear in the film as alien witch Rita Repulsa.
The upcoming reboot will be a revival of the original TV series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. *Just in case* you haven't seen it, it's a group of teenagers who have special powers which allow them to morph into superheroes in order to defend the planet against the extraterrestrial enemy.
Apparently this may be the first of up to SEVEN Power Rangers films in the future - that's a whole lotta Rangers!
Excited to see your childhood TV faves on the big screen? You're going to have to wait a little while longer, as it won't be morphin' (sorry) into cinemas until early 2017.
