Guess Which Oscar-Winner Is Joining The Predator Sequel?

Arnie's also set to return.

Looks like Arnie is going to have some A-list company in the upcoming' Predator' sequel, with Benicio Del Toro apparently in “early talks” to take a part in the new film.

Should he sign on the dotted line, Del Toro will likely be taking the leading role in the sequel, which is being directed by' Iron Man 3' helmer Shane Black.

At this stage, no casting has been officially confirmed, but original star Schwarzenegger is expected to make a cameo appearance somewhere along the way.

The new film had originally been described as a remake, but Black has confirmed that it will indeed be a sequel, and will be every bit as bloody as the original. “We probably could have gotten more money to do it as PG-13,” said the director. “But I actually think that although that seems like good logic, you're shooting yourself in the foot. I don't think the fans want a PG-13 'Predator.'”

Cameras are set to begin rolling on the new film later this year, with the finished product expected to arrive in cinemas in 2018. No specific release date has been confirmed at this stage.
