EXCLUSIVE: The Cast Of Pretty Little Liars Reveal The Moments From Season 6B That Will Blow Fans’ Minds
THIS IS ACTUAL NEW INFORMATION.
Congratulations everyone for officially making it through the Pretty Little Liars winter hiatus!
We know, we know, it’s felt like YEARS since you’ve seen a new episode of our favourite show, but luckily it returns tonight (January 12) and tomorrow (January 13) to Netflix. HURRAH.
Just in case you need something to tide you over for the next few hours, we actually had a real life phone call with the cast of PLL (WE CAN’T BELIEVE IT EITHER AGH) – and we got the scoop on what to expect from another explosive season.
We caught up with Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse on all things PLL, and they revealed that there’ll be some minds properly blown over the course of the next few months.
Sasha told us: “Close to the beginning of the season there is a major bombshell, and then several little ones.
“Charlotte, she’s all about games, whereas this new villain is serious. There is no messing around - it’s dangerous. It’s not, ‘I want to play a game’, it’s, ‘I want to kill you if I don’t get what I want’.
“Not only have the girls grown up, in a way our villain has too. We’ve never really seen this person before.
“The ending to this second half to the season is phenomenal and it is seriously going to blow everyone’s minds. I just know it! It blew my mind!”
OH LORD SASHA DON’T, WE CAN’T TAKE IT.
Troian wasn’t making us feel any less stressed either, as she added: “There’s one moment coming that when I filmed it I had to actually ask for a couple more takes.
“I told the director, ‘All I can hear in my head and see are the reaction videos of fans watching it and then screaming and possibly even hating me… so that was a little overwhelming.
“We’ll see what happens! I’m just not going to watch the reaction videos after that episode.
“But then there’s also an episode later, [where] there’s a Spoby moment that kind of explains why the relationship is no longer and I think it’s a really beautiful scene [between] Keegan and I.
“That’s was a really tough scene to film but really beautiful and I think that’s also going to be a really big moment for fans.”
Speaking of ships, Ashley filled us in on the demise of Haleb, explaining: “I think the thing for my character that will blow fans’ minds is she’s not with Caleb anymore.
“She’s completely moved on, she’s engaged and I think some of the fans are a little upset at that.
“But I’m excited to see them see how my story unfolds and I think that will be the most shocking thing for them. We filmed a flashback explaining everything that happened. It’s a really emotional, amazing scene.
“It’s my favourite scene I’ve ever filmed with Tyler so I think the fans are going to appreciate that.”
In amongst all this craziness, Shay tried to keep things mysterious, telling us: “I wish I could say it but in 6B there’s a LOT of moments in it that the fans are not going to believe.”
But of course, the damage had already been done. We’re already FREAKING OUT about what could possibly be going down in 6B and it hasn’t even started yet.
Keep checking back here for loads more exclusives from the PLL cast over the next couple of weeks – trust us, it’s going to be so worth it.
