According to TMZ, an altercation between Jones and his neighbour took place on March 24, with the actor apparently pulling out a firearm and pointing it at the man he was fighting.

Brandon was arrested and now the District Attorney has moved forward with a felony charge, assault with a firearm, against the actor.

He is also facing two further misdemeanor charges, the first being exhibiting a deadly weapon.

The second, thought to be linked to a separate incident in October 2015, of an exhibiting a concealable fire arm in public.

A rep for the actor said in a statement: “It is our understanding that the gun in Mr. Jones' possession was fully legal and registered.
