So, we finally know the relationship statuses of the Pretty Little Liars girls after the five-year time jump – and it’s slightly controversial.

But now that we know exactly who’s still together and who’s flying solo, we’re desperate to find out what’s going on with Rosewood’s resident boys in season 6B.

Luckily, show boss Marlene King has been chatting to Alloy Entertainment and explained exactly what Caleb, Ezra and Toby will be up to. And she even mentioned an old friend…

She told the site: “Well, Toby stayed in Rosewood and became a police officer.” Ummm, sort of surprising after that gummy bear incident, but OK.

“Ezra Fitz is a bestselling novelist who finally wrote his first book and got published. When the show picks up, he’s in the process of writing his second one.”

Let’s not even pretend that he’s going to be even slightly bearable now that he’s actually an accomplished author.

“And last time we saw Caleb, he was involved with high-tech security stuff, and actually becomes very accomplished in his field.”

Oh, well that’s good then. Well done, Caleb.

But that’s not all – Marlene has also revealed a former character will be making their grand return… And it’s only bloomin’ Lucas.

Marlene confirmed to the site: “Lucas also returns to Rosewood. He is wealthy, successful and has an amazing apartment to show for it.”

But how has managed to save up all that cash? Guess we'll have to wait until January to find out.
