Pretty Little Liars Season 6B Spoilers: 13 Things We Learnt From The ‘5 Years Forward’ Special

There's SO MUCH going on.

On Tuesday (November 24), Pretty Little Liars treated us to a special episode to help us through the currentmid-season hiatus that’s keeping us all up at night.

But while (to be honest) we didn’t have high hopes for any new information ahead of PLL's return in January, we were proven deadly wrong – because they dropped so many spoilers on us.

Prepare yourself for so much information that you may feel a little dizzy afterwards, because this is what we have to look forward to in 6B…

1. Emily drops out of college following the death of her father

In properly devastating news, it’s revealed Emily’s dad (who worked in the armed forces) was killed in action.

Understandably, this caused Em to drop out of her Californian college and turn to bartending in Malibu instead.

Still, that doesn’t stop her from coming back to Rosewood with ‘the biggest secret’, at least according to Marlene King. What could that possibly be?

2. Ezra’s an alcoholic

Which possibly explains why he screams at the Liars in such a hilarious yet awful way in the 6B trailer.

But what’s caused this? It apparently has to do with his Habitat For Humanity trip, which saw him leave with Emily’s old friend Nicole.

Something ‘horrible’ then happens (we assume that means poor Nicole gets killed off), which leads to all his internal struggles. SO THAT’LL BE UPLIFTING.

3. Toby’s hella rich now, suck it Spencer

Remember that time A blew up Toby’s house? You don’t? Yeah, it took us a while too.

Well, it seems good ol’ Tobes has finally got the insurance pay out on that bad boy, and is now rich enough to buy three acres of land to build his dream house on.

Seriously, did this show jump five years or fifty into the future?

4. Also, Toby and Caleb are totally BFFs now

They go fishing together, which is single-handedly the best thing we learnt from this entire special.

Toby won’t have much time for bro bonding though, because he ends up getting caught up in burglary which introduces a woman calledLyvonne Phillips into his life… Mysterious.

5. Alison has been visiting Charlotte for four years

While we already know that Ali and Charlotte have reunited after all that pesky A drama (biggest understatement ever), it’s nice to have it confirmed that the two are back on track with the whole sisters thing.

Whether the Liars are happy about it is another thing…

6. Ali and Jason first visited Charlotte three months after she got found out

HURRAY for Jason clearly getting past the awkwardness of ACCIDENTALLY DATING HIS SISTER.

Snaps for you, Jason.

7. Hanna officially works in ~fashion~

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Hanna studied fashion at FIT and is now working for an Anna Wintour-type who we bet is absolutely amazing.

We can’t wait to meet her.

8. But her career caused a rift between her and Caleb

URGH, don’t. Even though we already knew that Hanna was engaged (to a man she meets in Europe!), the idea that her being successful at work caused her and Caleb’s break up is way too much.

But let’s not even pretend that the two aren’t going to get back together in some dramatic ‘stop the wedding’ scene.

9. Aria drops out of her Photography college course to concentrate on writing

To be honest, we weren’t big fans of Aria’s foray into creepy doll photography, so we’re all for her going back into writing.

Of course, it won’t be easy, because she ends up working with Ezra thanks to her new publishing job – and they haven’t seen each other in five years.

10. Spencer somehow got into Georgetown

Despite the fact these girls attended about seven classes throughout their entire high school experience, Spencer got into Georgetown – which explains the dodgy White House CGI from the trailer.

Back in Rosewood, Spence is helping her mum run for Senate, so get ready for some endless fundraising parties aka endless drunk Spencer scenes.

11. Mona is being pretty suspicious when it comes to Charlotte

So Mona tried to get a job at Welby State Psychiatric Hospital – the place where Charlotte is being treated. Fishy.

Clearly, the girl is worried about what Charlotte could say once released from hospital but we really hope this doesn’t turn Mona into the slightly sociopathic girl we know and fearfrom season 2.

12. Alison is actuallydating her sister’s doctor

Healthy relationships aren’t really Ali’s thing, so her getting involved with Charlotte’s psychiatrist makes a ton of sense.

But considering the pair end up married (at least according to that 6A flash-forward), we assume things must go well.

13. The wine mums reveal how they escaped the basement

OH YES. During the special, the Liars’ mums give their theories on how they managed to get out of Mr. D’s creepy basement.

They reckon they survived off some scotch (understandable) and were eventually found by Ali’s dad when he needed to use the washer-dryer.

PHEW.We think we need a lie down after all that information.
