When it comes to TV, there’s not a show we love more than Pretty Little Liars… Honestly, we are obsessed.

But even though we can’t imagine PLL without Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell, we HAVE wondered – what would it look like if the four main characters were actually boys?

Naturally, we couldn’t let a question as big as this go unanswered, so these are our top picks for each of the main girls...

Harry Styles as Aria Montgomery

A pretty obvious choice, if we may say so ourselves.

Harry and Aria are both fashion forward (flares and giant Pat Butcher-esque earrings have never looked better), and are totally artistic souls.

When you think about it, is one of Harry’s vague black and white Instagram photos really any different from a creepy doll photograph of Aria’s? We think not.

Zac Efron as Hanna Marin

It’s safe to say that Hanna is the most hilarious liar, so who better to step into her shoes than actual Zac Efron.

Think about it, he’s witty, outrageously hot (much like Ashley Benson) and loves himself a bromance…

Obviously he’d fit right in with a gang of bros tracking down a slightly psychotic murderer.

Liam Hemsworth as Emily Fields

Ah Emily, always the calm, collected one (at least in the first few seasons) who isn’t scared to lay down the facts when necessary.

Liam Hemsworth would make the PERFECT gender flip of the character, and not just because he’s also someone of few words.

Also, not to make things weird but if we're going to go the whole hog and also make Emily a gay guy in the series, we’d definitely make Josh Hutcheron Paige.

Ansel Elgort as Spencer Hastings

Spencer Hastings is so smart and so cool in equal measures that we weren’t actually sure there was a boy who could match Troian Bellisario’s amazing-ness.

And then we remembered that Ansel Elgort exists, who could actuallybe the exact male version of Spence.

Imagine it -the preppy outfits? The sneaky sleuthing? This is something we need to see IMMEDIATELY, and clearly Ansel and his insane amounts of charm are up for the challenge.
