Sasha Pieterse And Janel Parrish To Return To Pretty Little Liars For New Spin-Off The Perfectionists

A's identity might finally have been uncovered, but if you're missing the Rosewood gang then there's good news in store as it's just been confirmed that two of your Pretty Little Liars faves are set to return for a spin-off show set in the same universe. 

It's two of the absolute best characters too with Sash Pieterse (Alison DiLaurentis) and Janel Parrish (Mona Vanderwaal) set to reprise their roles as they star in PLL offshoot The Perfectionists.

While there's been whispers that a PLL spin-off was in the works for a while, the news was finally confirmed this week with US channel Freeform confirming they are making a pilot for the show. 

The story of The Perfectionists is based on another book by author Sara Shephard and tells the story of five friends living in the picture perfect town of Beacon Heights. They are brought together by mutual hatred of Noah Hotchkiss, a boy who has done terrible things to each of them. While they bond over a plan for his hypothetical murder, their friendship is pushed to the limits when Noah is killed in exactly the way they had jokingly planned. 

Just like PLL, it promises dark secrets, shocking twists and some very ugly truths. 

Announcing the news on Twitter, Sasha said: "So this is happening!!! "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” will include me and my girl,@JanelParrish and we feel right at home@freeform 💖."

Excited much? YEP - us too.

Fingers crossed this one makes it past the pilot stage for a full season because we're gonna need something to fill the PLL-shaped void in our lives next year.
