Prince has announced he will be bringing his Hit And Run world tour to the UK.

To celebrate the release of PLECTRUMELECTRUM, the highly anticipated debut album from his all-female rock group 3RDEYEGIRL, the Purple Rain singer will play a number of "iconic venues" in and around London, kicking off his jaunt on February 3.

It is currently unknown where Prince will take to the stage, but he has confirmed the first stop is the living room of Lianne La Havas.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter met Prince last year during La Havas' tour of America and previously jammed together at his Paisley Park Studio in Minneapolis.

They have kept in touch ever since, and when Prince told Lianne he was coming to London to launch his new project, she jokingly offered her flat as the location for the press conference.
