Pro Green 'Investigated Over Fail-To-Stop Car Collision'
Rap star allegedly reversed a loaned Merc into a pensioner's vehicle...
Professor Green is reportedly being investigated by police after being accused of hitting a pensioner's car and failing to stop.
According to The Sun, Albert Stanford claims the Read All About It hitmaker caused £800 of damage to his Vauxhall Vectra when reversing a loaned Mercedes into it.
The 67-year old says he saw the white Merc make contact with his vehicle, but was unable to get Pro's insurance details as he sped off after the collision.
Stanford said: “It made a loud smash. But by the time I got my dressing gown on and went down, they had driven off.”
Neighbours are said to have then told Albert that the car belonged to Pro - whose nan lives close by in Woodford Green in North East London.
Albert is thought to have spoken to Green's nan, with the rapper later giving him a phone call, which ended in an argument.
Professor Green - real name Stephen Manderson - has since said that his loan car was undamaged following the alleged incident, with Mercedes-Benz later confirming this.
Manderson added: "The matter is being looked into", while a Met Police spokesman said: “This is being treated as a fail-to-stop collision.”
