Professor GreenandLily Allenhave joined forces to slam Sunday People journalist Katie Hind on Twitter.

The Just Be Good To Green pair took to the social-networking site to vent their anger over a series of articles she had written about them, calling the stories "slanderous" and "disgusting."

Lily kicked off the war of words with Hind after the journo published an article using supposed quotes that the star had given at the Glastonbury Festival about attending a boot camp to lose her baby weight.

"Some people are so unhappy in themselves they just hate to see anyone else finding happiness… no matter what they've been through to find it."

The Are You Getting Enough?rapper later issued an apology to Hind later for branding her a "wh*re", adding: "I was wrong calling you a wh*re, for that I apologise - but I stand by what a sad malicious tragic and vindictive woman you are."

Hind later said: "Love that the two celebs who tried to destroy my reputation today have both apologised", only for Lily to reply: "Are you telling porkies again Katie?

"Come on now , I didn't apologise to you , I said I felt sorry that you were getting abuse… You just can't help yourself can you?"

Mum-of-two Lily then concluded their spat with the comment: "Well, ‪#traumatictuesday‬ is over, bring on ‪#weepywednesday‬ ‪#glastonburyfallout‬."
