Professor Green has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The rapper and musician - real name Stephen Manderson - is thought to have been held by police in relation to [uuid=645dedfc-a79d-44f3-8431-4ca5ffe7831c]his reporting of a mugging[/uuid] in which he claimed to have been robbed of his Rolex watch.
The incident also saw him arrested on suspicion of rink-driving at the time, when he spent a night in the cells.
And now The Mirror reports that circumstances surrounding the alleged robbery are the basis for the new arrest.
A police spokesperson told the paper: "A 29-year-old was arrested for attempting to pervert the course of justice after reporting for bail.
"He is bailed to a date in January pending further inquires."
At the time of writing there had been no comment from Pro Green or wife Millie Manderson (nee Mackintosh).
