Professor Green Postpones UK Tour
The rapper reschedules shows for later this year...
Professor Green has announced that he's postponed his upcoming UK headline tour.
He cites a 'mental' 18 months in a statement released to fans.
The rapper has cancelled his 12-date tour in May, with dates being rescheduled for November and December.
In his statement he posted on his website, Pro Green apologises for having to delay both his album and tour because of several incidents over the past year and a half.
"The last 18 month have been mental, turbulent up and down, round and round, amazing, horrible, happy sad, frustrating, testing, trying and above all incredibly f**king stressful", wrote the rap star.
"I wanted an album out last October but, as most of you are aware, a lot has happened in my wonderfully colourful day-to-day life."
The rapper referenced his recent drink-driving arrest as a reason for the postponement: "I got hit by a car, got married and then had my life turned upside down by an entirely unfounded arrest for something which I was subsequently not charged. A waste of time. Silly billy bully boys.
"Fear not, I've finally finished my album and the work has not suffered for it; if anything, the time I've had between all the chaos has made for a much better album", he assured fans.
Pro Green went on to say he 'couldn't wait' to see his fans when he hits the road in November - "when we can sing our little hearts out together", he added.
The artist also released a teaser clip of an upcoming track, Not Your Man.
