Professor Green 'Reduced To Tears' At Outdoor Gig
The Remedy MC has blamed the wind for his streaming eyes...
Professor Green played a surprise outdoor show on London's Carnaby Street yesterday (21st May) - leaving the rapper in tears.
The 28-year old MC battled windy conditions - which left his eyes streaming - to perform his new single Remedy for shoppers as part of the UK's first ever Vevo Go Show, which sees different artists performing in unusual places.
Speaking of the gig, Green stated: "Getting involved in a VEVO Go Show was a chance to really surprise my fans by doing something totally different.
"Performing on the street is such a raw and unpredictable experience - it's like going back to the battles in the early days."
He added: "Working with VEVO to bring rap music to Carnaby Street - somewhere that's at the heart of the music scene - has been a really amazing experience."
However, nothing could prepare Pro for the wind, which left his eyes streaming uncontrollably - with many thinking the Read All About It hitmaker was crying,
The Prof - real name Stephen Manderson - explained to The Sun: "Everyone thought I was crying. I tried to wipe away the tears without looking like a complete nob."
He later tweeted: "Apologies for the tears, it was emotional, and windy!"
